I work intuitively with a wide vocabulary of media and techniques,

acrylic and oil, cold wax, plaster, photography, printmaking

and incised drawing. Very small to very large works.

The elemental forces of nature are evoked through building the surface of the work, creating organic, textural rhythms and layers of sensuous colour. This is a record of an inner journey focused on recurring themes of growth and transformation. It creates an atmospheric space where the viewer is invited to make their own associations.

Through the mindful act of painting I communicate the interrelationship between nature, art and spirit.
